The prices on everything is high and jobs are few as well as people losing work. My nephew is without work.
I will do alright as I have prepared financially.
We make less trips if possible but then our daughter needs us for some reason. She has twin 6 year old boys. So far they are doind o.k. financially. I hope it works out.
Things will improve after we have a new president as money and trade will start getting better.
Prior to every administration things get tight and then they improve. We are going to have Democratics in charge and it will be a world of difference. I don't know what you actually do as that is your business.
Look for the stable jobs on Google for some direction if you need to do that. Which ones are in demand.
I know how these markets work.
What could you trade to the U.S.A. ?
I could try and find a market. Money moves everything. Influence also is part of the picture. A family needs to stay together and work together. As for the economics, when you least expect it, expect it.
With your singing, you sell yourself short as you have a good voice.
God bless through the holiday season as it is Christ's birth coming and who knows if HE will appear as the times are right. HE is always with you.

and i am very glad you like my version of ''nkosi sikele' iafrika'', from the moment i saw and heared ladysmith black mambazo sing this song with paul simon in graceland i have always loved it.
and yes would sure like to sing a good african song, but i don't know any.

to answer all your questions about this song: i wrote the lyrics and the music, i made the backing track, i did the backing vocals so everything in this song is just me. that's for all the songs in that folder.
about 4 months ago i bought my self a second hand keyboard (i've played keyboard before many many years) and that's how i make my own backing tracks for my own compositions.
