I love Jerusalem, it's very inspiring so it's a very clever idea to take it and use it to spread a very different kind of message about Britain. It's the kind of thing those satirical puppets of Spittin' Image used to do, isn't it? The singing and the mix were very good although I struggled to hear all the words properly which is a pity. As for the lyrics well I can understand where you are coming from, I'm a working class lad from Liverpool after all! I just found it a little pessimistic for my taste. You mentioned that there are a few bad apples and that is really what it amounts to. I find that it's the majority complaining about the minority in this country. I would have liked you to have added a last verse rallying that majority into action..... reclaiming the night for instance, becoming better neighbours, giving up on the pursuit of the material and concentrating a little more on the spiritual side of life. Still, it is a fine piece of work that you should be rightly proud of hun. Well done! xx |

| Oops, yes Alie I see what you mean! I've altered the description now. I wouldn't want to mislead anyone. Just to clarify, I wrote the words and made the backing track myself, based on an existing tune! |

hi alyson, this is a wonderful song , although i think it's a little confusing when you say it's an own composition (made me think you had written the music), while it's an existing psalm. however the lyrics you made are beautiful. enjoyed my listening very much.have a wonderful weekend. , alie |
