Recorded in 1974. The technique involved running a long loop of tape around both a Copicat and a modified domestic tape recorder. I used a wind instrument as a controller (actually a B flat tin whistle), a pitch divider/multiplier, and some pedals. Post-production work performed in late July 2008. The source is from the original tape, which was digitized with many others in the autumn of 2007.

cannot tell why, maybe it is because I read too much   about it Wink

Dear Perlesvaus,
As usual, BG sums it up so well! An excellently played improvisation, too.
To me, it's a companion piece to Dun Aengus (aside from the cramped viewing conditions!!)
With best wishes,
Spider dlb.

A unique sound, and atmosphere - feel. There's a romantic-pastoral-gaelic quality to the theme and its orbiting weaves - both unearthly and OF Earth. Fascinating and beautiful.
