| Since EVERYONE asks: Prep and Outline took 50 Minutes3hrs on the multicolor wings 1st time6months later redid skips and "holidays" especially in green (one shade didn't agree with him) and some places where he picked off the scabs (see video) and that was 2 hours more, and gave second coat to white.... more healing... Then the final body shadows and details were done in 2 hours just days before he went in to have the surgury to remove his fat.... 8hours total work. The final shot is a year or so after it was finished, and Wraps around a little more. ... I always encouraged people who wanted one of my sailing clippers to get it real big so the wrap effect make the sails billow, stack nice between the fore and aft mast and the perspective of the hull and afterdeck and waves disappear around the arm.. much more effective and holds it shape over the years as the lines widen eventually.. I use the same process on the T-shirt designs of useing the 3D shape add to the deigns PREconsiderations. We also talked about the concept of powdered 24K gold worked into a paste and used on the idols skin. My ink, some consider amateur or at least unorthadox method of tattooing useing pigments in a cream and not a liquid produces bright longlasting color, Ultra concentrated and blended in the flesh with overlapping colors. No light pastel effect. |
