Beautifully done Catherine. You sure have a steady hand to get those fine details in so perfectly! Good use of complimentary colours too.I agree with Andrea..the painting stands because of the plain blue sky although, I have to say, I would have loved to see some clouds too . Excellent work Catherine.Thank you too for your lovely comments on Anushka's portrait and the pencil sketch. I am truly surprised you saw the new ones as I didn't think anyone would coz haven't uploaded paintings in ages! I didn't upload Anushka's one earlier 'coz you can see where the oil paint has seeped into her arm area & messed up the painting but yesterday, after all these yrs, she asked me why I didn't add that to my collection. The background is totally from the imagination of a 5yr old...she wanted a tree, a field, some clouds and wild flowers in her hand . |
