This is my first attempt at writing music and arranging my own backing. It is an old, very sad moving song about the loss that war brings. It doesn't have to be set in Ireland. It could apply to a lot of countries in the world at the moment.

WOW...this is so sad and haunting and beautiful. You not only sing so beautifully, but you write wonderful material. It has the strains of a sad Celtic ballad but, as you said, it could fit a lot of countries torn by strife in the world. This is just lovely!
