About me

Hello. This is all a little delayed. I joined a while ago and have just managed to get a moment to write a bit of profile. I guess I also wanted to find out if this community was worth being part of. There are so many talented people here I hope we can hear from you for a long time.

I live in a coastal area in Queensland, Australia. I am married and we live here with a small dog who is quite special. My work is computer related and I am often involved getting peoples problems sorted out. I am a member of several local groups and help some of them with computer lessons and web pages.

After 25 years working with computers I am starting to spend a little more time with my photography. Hopefully I will be able to create some truly unique photos. This area is quite beautiful so there is really no shortage of subject matter for me to work with. What I have missing is time.

I enjoy meeting people and have lately over the last few years have been involved with choir and have taken some singing lessons. I don't feel I am world class performer, but I do enjoy singing. My wife and I have recorded "Love Changes Everything", but so far that is all.

I hope to be able to listen to more of the work by the members here.

UPDATE:---- There seems to be a lot of dissention among the natives here about control of downloading files. The control is a bit dumb, but I can see how some artists would like to decide if the file can be downloaded. I say the control is dumb because it is easy to overcome. If you want to know how, let me know. In any case it does not pay to get angry. You need to find solutions.

Cheers, Rob.

Hello Rob...thanks for dropping by, and I appreciate your comments. Plus did I learn some more from you about who originally sang a song, and even the "why" of a certain song...so the story behind it. Will surely be back here. Hugs Johanna

Hey Rob,
I like to thank you for dropping by and for your kind words about my own made lyrics song "Only in memmory".
It is a pity that I can't make my own music.....so I always need a original backing from a song. And than everybody can hear the original song in their mind perhaps.
But very kind of you to say that you like the song.
Thanks and kind regards, Bionda
