seeing a artwork in photography is a big lie! All have the same size and do not let you understand the real aparence of the artwork. I've seen situations when an art album presented a painting 10 cm large at the same size with a 2m large painting. How can you realy understand the real form if you do not see it for real? That is where the museum has its place.

It's amazing how much real canvases feel when they are right in front of you; the colour seems to go right through you, a bit like attending an orchestral concert; the bass goes right through your rib cage like standing next to speakers at a club. None of these events can be replaced by digital repreduction. My gallery style is more 'Balhus' 'Sturges' and 'Richard Prince'
