Because of the beautiful colours of the trees in the fall, which you can see in city parks or the forests around the city.

For the amazing coffee, served by Italians in North End.

To see the houses of the yuppies and nouveau-riche in Beacon Hill.

To walk around MIT and Harvard, respectable universities that didn't accept my application...

To see the USS Constitution up close. It's the Navy Ship that's docked in the river.

By plane; land at the local airport, Logan.

By Amtrak.

By Ferry from Provincetown.

By car from New York.

By Greyhound from Chicago.

By motorbike from the forest area in Maine.

I'll look online for the cheapest ticket.

What transportation would you rather use to see the city?
1.
Rental car. We don't care about traffic or parking expenses, we have the time and money.
2.
Organized tour on a tourist bus. We don't manage well on our own and would rather have a professional take us around.

Bicycle - it's the most convenient way.

Subway - after all it supposed to go everywhere.
5.
Walking. The city is full of twisty-turny streets and nice walking paths.

Walking and biking. The important thing is to experience the city and its people up close instead of being cooped up in a tin can.

Why would you go to Cape Cod?
1.
For the wonderful opportunity to see whales.
2.
For the amazing restaurants that serve clams, especially in the town of Wellfleet.
3.
For the colourful and interesting gay community in Provincetown.
4.
For the lovely 19th century wood houses in Falmouth.
5.
For the beautiful sandy beaches that are hard to find anywhere else in North America.
6.
For all of the above, all of which make it a great place to visit.

What kind of water related activities would you rather do in the Boston area?
1.
Go to Old Silver Beach in Cape Cod.
2.
Avoid the crowds by going to Coast Guard Beach.
3.
Go kayaking in the harbour.
4.
Go on a whale watching cruise in Hyannis in Cape Cod.
5.
Go biking along the coast from Falmouth to Woods Hole.
6.
I hate water. I won't go anywhere near the beach or the river, but I'll enjoy the restaurants and parks downtown.

The North End and Downtown are the most authentic colourful areas of Boston. What will you do there?
1.
We'll walk around Quincy Market of course.
2.
We'll sample all of the cafes and bakeries along Salem St.
3.
We'll have steak at the Durgin Park restaurant.

We'll get drunk on Guinness that comes all the way from Ireland.
5.
We'll go see Faneuil Hall, the famous red coloured historical building.
6.
We'll look for interesting headstones in the Copp's Hill cemetery.
7.
We'll eat crab and oysters at the Union Oyster House.
8.
We won't miss a thing - from the cemetery to the oysters, we'll spend our whole day there.
9.
We'll try to come to a conclusion about who got there first: the Jews, the Irish or the Italians.

Where and when would you find the trees with the best fall colours?
1.
In October in Boston Common Park.
2.
In September in Back Bay Fens in the western part of town.
3.
In the forests of Maine way up north.
4.
At New England's beaches all through November.
5.
September to October on the slopes of Mount Greylock across from the town of North Adams.

In Vermont. The forest's fall colours there are much prettier than those in Boston - there's no comparison.

I don't want to find trees with fall colours. It's too cold, too wet. The north at the beginning of winter is not for me.

What's the next stop in your North American tour after Boston?
1.
New York, obviously.
2.
Quebec - it's beautiful.
3.
Niagara Falls, of course.
4.
Nova Scotia - that's as wild as I'm willing to go.
5.
Acadia National Park - the prettiest little spot in the whole world.
6.
Find a secluded spot on Walden Pond.
7.
Go to New Hampshire - its natural beauties are far more interesting.
8.
I'm not leaving Boston, not even for a million dollars!
