About me

I was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1944.  I went to fourteen schools (one in Germany) as a forces child must, and finished up in Cambridge with 10 'O's and 3'A's.

While an apprentice engineer at Farnborough I played first electric bass then electric piano and sang in several rock bands.  At the end of the sixties I married and became an industrial designer, living in Hampstead.  We moved to N.Wales where we raised two daughters and I commuted to England as an engineer.  We returned to Mill Hill in the late seventies, my wife trained up to the same level as myself and went professional, and one day in the late eighties I didn't manage to pass a music shop...

We moved out to Hatfield, where my daughters gained their professions, and finally in 2002 moved into the sun in Tenerife.  Now I look after a dog and cat (sometimes they look after me!), make music, record visiting musicians, walk, and swim in the sea.  Look me up if you can.

Classical Masterpieces
MIDI files taken from the original scores are arranged, mixed, and post-processed by Beachcomber. No orchestras took part in the production of this music, which is generated by a Yamaha SW1000XG computer card, and sent to a Spirit Folio mixing desk, captured by a second computer and fashioned into a quality MP3 file for your listening pleasure.

I downloaded more of your compositions. I am a student at Faculty of Music and Fine Arts of University of Delhi, India. My friends have also liked them very much. It may surprise you that some of your compositions can be classified into distinct " Raagas " which are the foundation of melody system in Indian Classical Music.
I am good at Tabla (which is the Indian Drum). I realize that now Tabla is a popular instrument in the West also (courtesy Zakir Hussian).
Thanks once again. I am a fan.

Mr. Cardiff Wales, I have downloaded these masterpieces and they are wonderful. It is great to know that people with fine tastes such as you have are sharing files. Please tell me where can I find good guitar solos, classical and also I want to download specifically "Pop Symphonies - James Last" which came in early 90s. Can you tell me where can I get it? Thank you.
