Animated GIFs from my camera
I needed moving backgrounds for Power point presentations, but the software is priced out of reach for the churches I help out. Animated GIFs made from multiple pictures are cruder than movie files, but can be used behind lyrics, and the words won't get swallowed by the video. Please view "original size" in order to see the animation =]

Deer in Our Yard
The deer like to wander through our yards. They can be a nuisance, eating everything in site, leaving deer ticks behind as well as other things... But we sure do love them. Haha -- can't believe I created this folder and then managed to upload the pictures to some private folder. More deer pictures in the animated gif folder

You can send a powerpoint to me via regular email. dcordell@montanasky.com

Just attach it as a .pps file. It will come through ok.

I've been tardy here for a week or so. Been busy with some personal issues.

I guess, I should catch up here, then I'll check the links you posted.

God Bless!!

I don't think anyone could have done a better job than what you did with my little house finch male, looking for a mate! Absolutely beautiful job.

Actually... his little head, did just about move around like that, in his quest.

So far, this Spring, they are out there, but for some reason are more flighty this year. I wanted to see about getting some more shots... but no luck.

You mentioned that hawks were your favorite. I have a TON of hawk pics, but haven't uploaded them all here or even at webshots. Hawks are all over the place this Spring. Feeding must be good. I got a video of one eating a huge field mouse... but don't know if you'd much enjoy him ravaging his meal. lol I think I have it posted on my webshots account. I know I uploaded a bunch of videos there, last week.

Keep up the great work. If you have any needs for a pic... let me know... I'll dig through what I have and see if we can get some that go together as well as the Finch.

BTW.. saved them so I can use them in my email once in a while. :-)

I like the ducks added to your writing! I also like your writing!!

Bless ya girl and thanks for giving Heather and I credit. A lot of folks wouldn't do that, in this day and age.

You may use any of my pictures if you feel the need and if one fits what you are writing about.

Part of why I post my humble images, is just for those who don't have the same chances I do, to see the things I do and maybe get a little enjoyment from my efforts.

I got some pretty good Eagle pics the other day. ( Finally ) God has blessed me with one of my greatest desires and that's to enjoy this wonderful creature. Which, btw, is my favorite bird. I'd searched for two years..or ever since I started taking pictures... and just never happened across an Eagle... or at least a better shot than seeing one's hind end as it flew past, high in the air.

I'll mention to Heather that I have some new photos, but she has been ill for a while now. So, when she's back on her feet, I'll let her know. Maybe she can animate some more pics for both of us.

God Bless and be with you!

I have three different tripods, especially for long distance, or for when I am on max zoom on a bird. Max zoom sucks for any kind of picture, but a tripod helps steady it and makes it just a WEEEEE bit clearer.

For hiking, there is made a walking stick kind of tripod... guess it'd be called a mono-pod, eh? duh

One other suggestion, grab a stick or a branch with a nub of a branch left on it. That'll help steady shots too. Any attempt at improvement is better than no attempt, in my book.

I just read your messages, in my photos. I don't do any animations. The pics I had animated here, were done by Heather. They are probably still on her profile pages.

As for that camera shake... other than using a tripod or getting a digital camera that has an anti-shake feature, I am not sure what to tell you other than to take a long breath, hold it as you are ready to snap your picture, then slowly exhale as you push the button. That may help some.

I've found that the further away your image or subject, the more likely you are to have shake show up.

Yes, feel free to use any of my images for your gifs. Only one thing, if you will... I'd like to see the finished product. That fair enough?
