I am not just saying, just because I am a native Bangalee. I hope I do understand fairly Hindi and Urdu. So perhaps I have the right to compare.
May be if you listen to more Bangla (Bengali...is english term!) songs, I am afraid you will love them too.
Depends upon your interest, I could suggest you some Bangla songs of various artists...just for listening.

Regarding your liking vof Bangla Songs- I am astonished and I pay my homage to you and to your wonderful voice. Earlier some other singers like, Hansa Mehta, Alpana, Pravin etc. song some Bangla pieces under my guidence. And I am proud and delightful. May I ask you one thing- Where do you get the Bangla music (do you play it directly or use Karaoke backing? If you are interested I with Shotabdy Rahman can give you some Bangla song- Karaoke track, text and original songs. There are some songs played both in Hindi and Bangla.
