Kuala Lumpur is the capital and the largest city of Malaysia with a population of over 1.3 million. Kuala Lumpur is one of the three Malaysian Federal Territories. The other two are Labuan and Putrajaya. It is an enclave within the state of Selangor, on the central west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Within Malaysia, the city is commonly referred to as KL.

KL is a heady mix of history and culture interwined with mushrooming skyscrapers and office towers. KL is the best example of a city that has managed to preserve the best of its cultural heritage and combine it with modern conveniences ot offer a wholly unique experience to visitors.

Malays, Chinese and Indians  comprise the main races among others in this multicultural backdrop. These ethnic diversity has shaped the city over years and is clearly seen in the various cultural customs and religious belief, as well as languages, cuisines and architecture.
