| Written by Gene Autry, and Oakley Haldeman This song became a #5 country and #9 pop hit in 1947, when it was released as a single by Columbia Records. Autry re-recorded it again for that same label in 1953 . Then he again released it in 1957 on Challenge Records which was his own label. Gene Autry also wrote Frosty The Snowman and Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. So, kids who grew up between 1947 and 1957 listened to Gene sing this one. Here is my cover of "Here Comes Santa Claus" |

Crosby, fist sang this song to the public on his top-rated NBC radio show The Kraft Music Hall on Christmas Day, 1941. It been recorded by almost every singer in the music business since, including Elvis Presley who recorded the song in September 1957. |

| "Silver Bells" is a classic Christmas song, composed by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans.
"Silver Bells" was introduced by Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell in a motion picture called The Lemon Drop Kid in 1951. The first recorded version was by Bing Crosby and Carol Richards in 1952, which also became a hit in late 1952. The lyrics are unusual for a Christmas song in that they describe the holiday in the city, and not a rural setting.
