A little intorduction...

The collection of songs below are my all time favorites. These are not original songs, but sung by me, with the help of karaoke music. Of course these will be different than the original ones as I like to sing even my favorite songs my own way.

I hope you like the subtle differences and have a nice time listening to the songs.

If you like these, then please do check back again as I will try to upload new songs as and when I get time to sing and record.

The name is confusing. Well, this is a song which was originally in bengali, namely "amay proshno kore", sung by Hemanta and then it was used in the movie Anand, where Mukesh sang "Kahin door". Now, both the songs are equally good to me and I just couldn't resist myself to put together a blend..

Felt like uploading some Rabindrasangeets today. Always feel guilty of spoiling the songs. As purists would say, there are certain ways that these songs should be sung. I was not trained, but that does not stop me from liking RS and singing.

Kishore sang this one in the movie "Jhumroo"..music was also composed by Kishore. Kishore was the master when it came to singing sad songs.

Original song was by Kishore Kumar, music by SD Burman. Hopefully did justice to the song, which is, to me, one of the most melodious ones Kishore had sung. Incidentally, there is a Bangla song "Borne gondhe chhonde geeti te" in the same tune sung by SD himself.
